Write for #Marcheshour

Do you have something fresh, informative, useful and unique about Herefordshire, Shropshire or any other part of the Marches you wish to share? Are you an expert in your field, would you like to share your knowledge & expertise with MarchesHour readers? We will love to hear from you. We are looking for guest bloggers/writers to contribute unique article to #Marcheshour.
In addition to general touristy article about the Marches, we are also looking for contribution on topics relating to starting and running a small business, including articles on business development, marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO) networking or any other topic you think our visitors may be interested in.
You can either send us a complete ready-made article or send us an email, with the topic you wish to write on.

Writing & contents guidelines for Marcheshour guest bloggers

• Only original and creative content accepted. We do not wish to reinvent the wheel, so articles that has already been used elsewhere are not considered for posting on Marcheshour.
• Not too short and not too long. The minimum word count for your article should be 600 word, it must not be more than 5,000 words.
• A picture speaks a thousand words, so the saying goes. Please include 2-5 related images. If you do not have images, we can find some for you.
• Your article must be focused. Please choose a particular topic, industry or organisation and focus your article on that specific topic. If you need help zero in in on what to write, please contact us, we may be able to guide you.

Topics we are quite keen on at present are:

Informative articles on tourist destinations in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and the Welsh Marches. We are also keen on tutorial type articles, that provides a step-by-step guide to doing something useful. We also love infographics, reviews and interviews with prominent people in the Marches.
